Eine Hole-Punch-Cloud (englisch hole punch = Löcher ) ist ein relativ selten zu beobachtendes Wetterphänomän und bezeichnet eine kompakte Wolke mit bizarren Spitzen, die sich durch einen deutlichen kreisförmigen bis ovalen Freiraum von den sie umgebenden Wolken – zumeist Altocumulus, seltener Cirrocumulus oder Stratocumulus – absetzt.

Die genaue Ursache, die zu der Entstehung der Wolke führt, ist noch nicht erforscht.

A hole-punch cloud (English hole punch = holes) is a relatively rare observable Wetterphänomena and referred to a compact cloud with bizarre peaks, which are characterized by a distinct circular to oval space of the surrounding clouds - or mostly Altocumulus, rare Cirrocumulus stratocumulus - settles.
The exact cause leading to the emergence of the cloud is not yet explored.
